Packing For Camphub: How to Prep for Day 1

We’re so excited your child is joining us for our school vacation camp at HUB!

To make sure they’re set up for success, here’s a simple checklist of what to pack. With the right gear packed, your child will be ready to jump, climb, and conquer the day like a true parkour pro!

  1. Proper footwear and movement friendly clothing

Proper footwear is essential for a safe experience. Be sure to send your child in sneakers or athletic shoes with good grip (rubber soles), as these provide the support needed for climbing and jumping.

To prevent accidents, please avoid sandals, Crocs, or any loose-fitting footwear that could slip off during movement.

2. Water!

Staying hydrated is key to keeping up with all the action-packed fun of camp.

We recommend sending your child with a reusable, spill-proof water bottle to ensure they can easily stay hydrated throughout the day.

If they happen to run out of water, no need to worry—we’ll happily provide refills to keep them energized and ready for more!

3. Snacks and Lunch

To keep your child energized and ready for all the fun, pack healthy, non-messy snacks that are easy to eat on the go.

If your child is staying for a full day of camp, they’ll need two snacks and a lunch, while half-day participants only need one snack. Lunches should not require refrigeration, so opt for shelf-stable options.

Please remember that we’re a nut-free facility to ensure everyone’s safety, so double-check snacks to avoid any allergens.

4. Personal Items

If your child has specific medical needs, such as an inhaler or EpiPen, please be sure to pack them and notify us in advance. When you drop off your child, inform the front desk about any medical needs or necessary supplies.

Additionally, sending a small bag to help keep their personal items organized is a great idea, ensuring everything stays in one place and easily accessible throughout the day.

5. Positive Energy!

Parkour is all about trying out new challenges and having fun, so encourage your child to come with a positive attitude and an open mind.

This is their chance to jump, climb, and have fun while exploring new skills and making memories. With a positive mindset, they’ll be ready to enjoy every moment of CampHUB!
